TRAVEL - SEATTLE, WA.

.
SEATTLE, WASHINGTON: After several years of traveling through Seatac airport in Seattle on the way to somewhere else, usually Vancouver BC or in some cases Europe, I finally stopped to take in the sites that Seattle has too offer. Now it's been over 20 years since my last visit to the City and like everywhere else in the world, things have changed. The one that got my attention were the changes to the cities Iconic Space Needle. This monument to the future of space travel has been refurbished and now includes glass floors and glass guardrails / panels, which offer spectacular 360 degree views round the city. Another addition is the Chihuly Gardens. Now I have seen Dale Chihuly's (Artist & Seattle Native) installations in Las Vegas Nevada, however the gardens offer a broader view of Chihuly's work in glass, complete with demonstrations of the glass blow techniques. While the city has changed over the years, It still maintains the friendly, walkable environment that has visitor flocking to the city, especially on the 4th of July.
